After Amanda Staveley took over, she and other Newcastle executives approved the record transfer fee for Isaac from Real Sociedad. The Swedish forward joined Newcastle for a fee of over 70 million euros and signed a six-year contract.
After Isaac left the team, Newcastle also signed German No. 5 Walter Mader at a price that broke the team's transfer fee record of 75 million euros. Waltermade has started brightly, scoring four goals in his first eight Premier League games.
