Uduka talks about Ethan's injury: It's unfortunate, but fortunately he won't be retired for the season like Bill.
6686 Sports November 16th Rockets coach Uduka talked about Ethan's injury in an interview today.
Uduka said: "It's always hard to miss games, but this wasn't a recurrence of some major injury. It was an accident and he got hit at a weird angle. It's certainly unlucky, but the good news is, he's not going to report for the season like Bill." He will return sooner than we thought, so we will let others fill the vacancy while keeping him motivated and diligent in returning." Uduka then said that Aaron Holiday, Tate and Jeff Green will fill Ethan's playing time.
"It is a luxury for us to have such depth in the lineup." Udoka said, "Our players have always been prepared. I also praised Holiday in particular after the game against the Trail Blazers because he always maintains professional energy and is always ready to step up at critical moments. He did that last night. Others have been forced to step up due to injury issues this season, and we will welcome players back when they are ready, but overall, we are very confident in the performance of all players."
